AAA Scholar Program

The Alphabet Accessibility Academy Scholar Program offers role-specific advanced education, from intermediate to professor level. Accessibility Professors make an annual commitment to teach others about accessibility, advance accessibility in their product area, and support the broader accessibility community.

You can get in touch with and join specific accessibility communities at Google through a number of employee resource groups and communities.

Accessibility Discuss

Accessibility Discuss (accessibility-discuss@) is an internal list of people who are accessibility users, work on accessibility, and/or care deeply about accessibility. This is a good option for non-technical questions within and outside of the tech org.

Colorblind

Colorblind (colorblind@) is a forum to bring together color blind Googlers with Googlers who are designing products that should look good for people with color blindness.

Deafglers

Deafglers (deafglers@) is a community of Googlers who are deaf or hard of hearing, or motivated to create accessible products. Learn more about Deaf culture with the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) Community & Culture.

Disability Alliance

The Disability Alliance (da@) is a large alias of Googlers with accessibility needs and/or general disability advocates. You can find more information on the DA website.

Disability Alliance - Brazil

da-br@: The Disability Alliance Brazil is an ERG for Googlers who care about disability, learning differences, or neurodiversity and want to learn and contribute in advancing diversity, accessibility and inclusion for our community and everyone.

Google Accessibility to Everyone - Japan

Screen Reader Users (screenreader-users@) is a list to share tips & best practices and ask questions about screen reader use at Google.

External engagements

Google works with accessibility and disability advocacy organizations, training centers, rehabilitation centers, schools, universities, companies, and governments. Find the full list of external engagements on the relationship tracker at go/accessibility-relationships.
